I have read a few and tend to enjoy them although it is a while ago now. They are not good books, if it weren't for the sailing aspect then I wouldn't have bothered, but I think the sailing aspect adds enough interest to make it worth while.

Thinking about it now I don't feel particularly inclined to go back and re-read them as I would if they were good books.

I have read every book he has written (even ones that are not ebooks ... and also more than once) and find him an excellent author / novelist.
One of may favourite writers. Bit similar to Hammond Innes and Alistair Maclean.
Gripping plots. Well written.
My complaint......he hasn't written enough. Just finished Singlehand (book that comes after Blackfish) and it was great too.
