Sam Davies - Solo Figaro transat race

Sam Davies, Brit solo sailor and another member of the Offshore Challenges team crossed the start line today clik here.

Surprised there's been no media coverage so far. Or did I miss it?

The class is not followed that much here in Blighty, Sam did the last Figaro circuit but did not pull any amazing results off so that might be one reason.

Thought last year's 'first woman to be in the top ten' was quite respectable. Thing that makes this transat interesting IMHO is that it's a one design fleet.
