Sam Davies slowing down ????????

It look slike a tactical thing in the Vnedee but she has lost position and is now 5th in the Vendee. I haven't been keeping as close an eye on it in the last few days - have I missed something or is she spending too much time making the videos !! ?

She can't spend too m uch time taking vids!

She sailed into a wind hole and got stuck in very light winds for 48 hours. Safran has overtaken her but has 50 hours redress on her time so the proper order is restored.

Dee, despite her sail problems is doing very well catching Brian Thompson and leaving Arnaud B. He has gone for a different strategy.

She's in a patch of light air. Guilemot has gone west for better wind, but has to come back east again at some point, so might lose the gain.

Slightly off-topic but it's Ms Caffari's Birthday on Friday the local radio station have just reminded me (clicky here). She's not only sticking with it but doing rather well considering the state of her mainsail. I wish them both all the very best.
