If it was me, I would remove the old one and ask a carpenter to make me a new one. I know they're not local to Brighton but I would use Bamptons, in Vespasian road, Southampton. Worth looking in if you're visiting the Southampton boat show during the week.
Don't know what the quality is like but www.svb.de / Interior & Cabin / Teak Racks / Tables and Chairs has some nice looking tables. (prices are in euros)
Richard Hare did an article about making a saloon table a while back, I think it was in ST mag. He based it on the saloon table in Kilter! Easy enough project and you can make it the right size for the boat.
Keep an eye on ebay. They sometimes come up. I picked up a nice folding & lifting table I believe came out of a fairline 41 for £50. It did need the top re-varnishing but has made a nice table.
