No - thats "Gold Dot Bay"I think so? la plage de Courtade, Porquerolle
The Red Dot is the Plage de Nôtre Dame. I’ll probably walk past it during a dog walk this week. It’s a truly stunning place but it’s far from town if you’re anchoringNo - thats "Gold Dot Bay"
An old forum haunt.
Originally named "Red Dot Bay" by JFM when he was explaining where it was.
He marked some coloured dots on a satellite overlaid chart that I posted.
This was the chart.

Soon after, a couple of boats from Sant Carles did an early season cruise round the South of France and Corsica.
JW was one of the two and Red Dot bay was our first stop after crossing the Gulf of Lyon.
It was so nice when we arrived that we renamed it "Gold Dot Bay"
And I finally found a good way to search the old threads in this forum - the forum software itself is rubbish but Google does a great job.
Here is a link to my old thread/report that I wrote up after returning from that long cruise.
It should bring back some memories.
A long cruise - Spain - France - Corsica - loads of photos
Looks great. The snads have a 3m super sticky backing..I was intrigued by the press studs as well. I guess the part on the tubes is glued on somehow.
The only thing I made for the dinghy ( a 2.6m RIB) last summer was a sun cover... It was actually patterned to fit the dinghy in a right way up position on the foredeck (with a small umbrella shaped support on the seat). Made that way it also fits whilst dinghy stored on the snap davits.

Sewing is hot sweaty work in the South of France. It’s not at all unusual here to see naked seamstressesI didn't realise you were so poor that when you have to repair your clothes you have nothing else to put on.
