My experience with a Sailrite.
I purchased a Zig Zag Sairite a few years ago. Was sewing a canvas cover when the needle deflected and hit the cast casing that holds the bobbin. It cracked the casing in half. Sent a message to Sairite in the States who rapidly sent me a replacement casing with instruction DVD on how to fit and reset the timing. Started sewing again, and the same thing happened. Got rid of the machine after that. Now only use straight stitch old Singer 99k without problems.
