Sailmakers

In my previous post it sems the advice is I need a new sail, living in S.W Scotland it maybe would be best to deal with Local sailmakers. The ones nearest are Jessail, Saturn and North West Sails, could anyone who has bought from these companies give me any feed back.
Maybe some would say that dealing with a company for a new sail that are close by, ( the nearest is 60 miles away ) is not important, comments on this and any other companies that could be recomended would be appreciated.

FWIW, I emailed requests for estimates for new sails for my fine craft from 3 sailmakers this morning, so far 1 of them (Jeckells) has bothered to reply. I presume with the recession on, they're snowed under with work.

I bought a new main and genoa from Owen Sails (near Bendelock, Oban area). Satisfied with the sails and price, and good after-sales service. Nice people to deal with, and from what I can tell they are very experienced (Olympic sail makers??)
