I suppose you have to consider if its a functional device built to a pre-existing style, or a piece of art, and if its art, then is it intended to challenge ones view?

If the latter, then I think its rather good!

It would be easy to build a Shemara/Talitha/Delphine and have everyone say how jolly pretty it is.
