WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST
==========================

Issued: 1200 hrs, Friday 23rd March 2018

SATURDAY
---------------
A weakening occluded front across southern and central parts of England on Saturday morning. This is likely to be bringing low cloud, drizzle and patchy rain with it. Plenty of mist and murk. There will be a reduction in visibility, although it may be that things slowly improve through the day.
Across much of northern England, Scotland, Ireland and eastern Scotland the day should be fair with sunny spells, feeling spring-like!
The occluded front over western Scotland and northwest Ireland will be bringing a few showers here, one or two heavy.
Winds mainly NE 5-12kt (F3) in the south, SW 15-20kt (f5) in western Scotland and the far north of Ireland.

SUNDAY
------------
The remains of the occluded front are finally expected to be clearing southeast England on Sunday morning, taking low cloud and the remaining drizzle and patchy rain with it.
A showery trough affects northern Scotland, but for most the day is one of broken cloud and should be mainly dry as a ridge of high pressure builds from the west. Just a few showers in Ireland in the afternoon.
Winds mainly WNW 10-15kt (F3-F4) but N at first in the far southeast. WNW 20-25kt (F5-F6) in the far north of Scotland.
