Sailing Today isn’t a bad sailing magazine but they certainly need to get their subscription service sorted. Back in June I sent them £50 for a years sub. After 6 weeks waiting I still hadn’t received any issues so phoned and asked them to cancel. Eventually they agreed to send me a refund by cheque within 28 days. This has not arrived in spite of telephone calls and emails to all and sundry - ST publishers, editor etc. So, a word of warning for anyone looking to take out a subscription to this magazine – beware. You might not get any issues and possibly never get a refund.

I think it is you that signed up for something odd and not a problem with the magazine. The subscription offer in the current mag is £6 for first six issues and £18.95 for next 6, This is direct with the publishers Interactive Publishing plc. That's about what I pay - £6 odd quarterly.

£50 (unless overseas) - you've been diddled.

According to the Sailing Today website 12 months is £28.50 in UK, £50 in EU

I have subscribed to Sailing Today since it started and pay £27.50 per year in advance. I paid again just last month. I think the ownership has just changed.

There all at it! My son paid for a year subscribition to Yachting Monthly for me at the Southampton Boat Show (late birthday present) A couple of years ago. I only received the first 6 months. Each month it arrived later and later, then faded away. Blank to all EMails..

I had an (EU/overseas) subscription to ST a few years ago, but never renewed as I got fed up of the magazine being in the shops for up to a week before it landed on my doorstep. It put me off ST ever since. :(
