I plan to sail to Eddystone and back from Salcombe on Saturday.

Is there any advice from anyone who has been there or knows the location well. Any tips on best area to approach from / how close to get etc would be appreciated

Thanks

You will see why the lighthouse was built if it's low water, there's a cheeky little reef sticking out!

Here's a photo taken from a Southerly direction. You will notice Jerry's 'cheeky little reef'!!

West or Nor'westerlies forecasted, so you should have a good sail. Don't go too close is all I can say!

Have a good day!

Tha AC45s didn't dare sail out to the Eddystone and back, when they visited Plymouth for a race series. It was reckoned that they were too fragile.....
