Thanks Michael, for offering these films. I was pleasantly surprised to see the film of old Tom Neale's island, Suvarov, which I learnt of decades ago. His book An Island to Oneself is available as a free download on pdf. I actually have it and can send to anyone who offers an email address or pm's me with one.Not hi tec enough to post it on this forum

According to the Cook Islands park ranger, Suvarov was the name of the Russian Freighter that discovered it around 1813 I think. You can tell how easy it was for Tom Neale to live there - fish in the sea, fruit in the trees and amazing bird life.... Apparently he spent most of his time looking for buried pirate treasure that the atoll reputedly has.

It is a bit off the beaten track from Tahiti towards Tonga via the Cooks so not that many yachts visit - I had a big problem finding the entrance to the lagoon which was no where near it's charted position. Nearly made a mess of it!
