Sailing shoes

Has anyone come across any good sailing shoes - preferably waterproof (e.g. Goretex lined) and with a bit of a heel so they're comfortable ashore?
Mine are a a fairly expensive pair from one of the better-known makes, but they leak like a sieve (I do oil them regularly) and after a year the sole has gone through.
 
Form does not seem to follow function with sailing shoes and, like yourself, I have not yet found a pair that seem to do the job properly.

To be fair, they have to look good for going ashore and perhaps this is the problem. It just seems plain daft to have laces that get caught up in everything.

I found a shop selling trainer type shoes with a 'sailing' sole by Reebok for £20. They work well on the boat but I have started wearing a conventional shoe (that look like sailing shoes) for going ashore.
 
I don't think I could beat my sebago's they leak like a sieve but as I dont wear socks I dont care, they are supremely comfortable, I dont look after them but they look good with character now, and I can get them resoled.
I wear boots when its wet.

Its horses for courses, I dont ware sailing shoes for walking round town as they have little padding in the sole and I dont want to bring street dirt back onto the boat, so I use either trainers or 'street' shoes. I have a pair of short boots for when its cold and wet.
 
£10 a pair in LIDL this week

seem pretty reasonable quality, albeit moulded sole rather than the 'proper' razor cut one.
 
Thanks everyone for replies. I've found out that Dubarry make what I'm looking for (Goretex lined and with a bit of a heel), but £120 though...
