Sailing school that does weekend boat handling course please.

Hi

Looking for a good hands on school or operator that will do a weekend or days boat handling / berthing course. Southern don't do weekends sadly. Not looking for sailing experience only berthing etc. Any suggestions appreciated.

A mate of mine did this not so long ago, I think it was with Brittania on the hamble but I will check and come back.

You don't say where you are based, but try Five Star Sailing they are based on the Hamble. Speak to Christine and she'll be able to sort you out.

Have you got your own boat & where are you based?
Have you done any RYA courses, or simply looking to top-up existing skills?

The guys based in Gosport/Haslar, can do own boat tuition, or on one of their school boats. Give them a ring.

Hi and thanks for the replies everyone, the course is not for me but for a friend who is going on a charter and feels a bit of close quarters handling would be a good job done. We're based in Yorkshire but she can travel anywhere really , though time is now tight, I think she may have a few offers to hand.
