The waves were IMMENSE.......

Most uncomfortable conditions I've experienced were at southern end of Lake Michigan in July, very confused seas as they are squeezed after a 300 mile fetch Give me the sea any time. oo:

Yeah I know, there are lakes around the world which would deserve to be called seas.
But would you expect the above conditions to build up in a matter of 20 mins or so, and with a fetch of a mile and a half?!?
Mind, it was almost flat again after a couple of hours...
