Many years back, I posted on a sailing forum (not sure which one) about sailing in Skiathos.
One of the replies was from a chap who lived on the island and kept his boat there.
He had an old Westerly Pageant sailing boat , which is the same as I have here in England.
I can't find the email conversation I had with him, but he did suggest that if we came back to Skiathos, he would be happy for us to hire it for the day and go out sailing round the island.
Does anyone have any possibility as to who this may be? I think he was an English guy who moved onto the Island. I'd like to contact him and see if the offer is still avaliable.
I would assume that the Westerly Pageant was either sailed to the island or transported there as it is a rather unusual site in those parts
