We have been sailing from the UK to ijmuiden and through to amsterdam into the ijsselmeer for a number of years now, however after speaking to friends they said they were stopped twice last year by officials who asked for passports, boats papers and cevni, im not sure of the size of the sail boat, however we sail a UFO34 which is 10.4m and take all relevant documents including radio licences, passports, vat papers, etc, the only thing we have never has is any RYA qualifications, ICC certificate, or Cevni.
We have never been stopped at all.
My question is that am i right in thinking that because the sailing boat is under 15M and cannot exceed 12 Knots, we would not need to hold and ICC or Cevni for our trip?
and we only have to carry a dutch guide on the regulations
