Just back from holiday. Best tip for passage making grub. Sainsbury's longlife brunch.
Comes in two varieties, vacuum packed. Takes five minutes to heat in a saucepan and with a can of baked beans is an excellent meal for two.

Noooo. FB every time.

Have a taste of the Risotto Pronto range..12 minutes in the pot add some extras Easy to eat and it stays in the the stomach.

Yep, the JS Brunch is a firm fave here too. Also, my kids (via one of my less discerning provisioning trips!) have discovered something called Hunger Breaks - basically a tin of beans with sausage, 'bacon burger', sort of egg thing and mushrooms all in one. They love them but for some strange reason I just can't bring myself to taste one!

On the other hand, the posh ready meals reviewed in PBO this month look interesting...

try this one, nice and fast. Asda good for you, spag with tomato sauce, just add boiling water, a tin of tuna and a splash of lee & perrins. eat from a bowl, or pan if you don't want too much washing up.

Which I'm not , so a good old fashioned roast chicken goes down well , if you can't eat it with two veg you just let it cool a bit and rip a leg off . Nothing quite like it

Go for the bacon sandwich - in my experience most self-styled veggies cannot resist the temptation. Once they are on the slippery slope they cease to be a pain in the butt for the catering department.
