Sailing documentary - Research

Hello all, my name is Christopher Beard, I'm an Independent film maker based in Cardiff. for the past month I have been researching a documentary about people who like to sail.

Basically I'm looking for information or contributors for the documentary.

Nothing is set in stone at the moment but I wish to use a series of characters with a strong story to portray sailing and sailors today.

If anyone knows anyone I should speak to or any useful information about the mariners and Docks around Cardiff I would be very grateful. If you want me to film your or interview also give me a shout. If you know anyone with an interesting story or any one you think would be on camera please get in contact.

Like I say at the moment I really just looking for information, and people to talk to.

In the long run (big if's atm), if I have enough contributors or a strong story, It will be off to either festivals or television. for example BBC's wonderland series.
I'm aiming for a 40 min slot.
