Sailing Bibs/Salopette recommendations for short legged man

I am looking for a waterproof Bib/Salopette for mostly coastal with some offshore sailing, but I am 36 waist and 5"5' tall, inside leg of 29"

does anyone have any recommendations? Does anybody know of short legs/body available by any of the manufacturers?
I am in the US (but I am a Brit!)

I use Scottish Mountain Gear to adjust all my Gortex kit, i am sure you will find companies in the US of A that will do the same.

After many years of wearing salopette I have stopped using them and just wear waterproof trousers instead. I have two pairs, a lightweight but reinforced Henry Gill pair and a heavy duty thermal pair of Colombia ski trousers.

No leaks and much more flexibility. For instance in a summer rain storm I put the lightweight ones over shorts with a very thin golf smock goretex and am cool and dry. In winter the thermal trousers and an full blown ocean jacket.

Buying trousers should give a lot more choice on lengths ect

I am similar size although slightly taller on a good day. I have had Gill trousers and now Musto BR2 - size L. Although longer than my legs they have (especially the Mustos) good ankle straps that stop the legs dropping over my feet . I am always wearing sailing boots anyway when there is need for the waterproof trousers, so I strap them outside these.

Musto used to offer a custom leg length service for their proofs. Might be worth investigating.

I wear a standard medium 34 inch waist 30 inch inside leg. I'm 5 10 though.

I would say I'm on the just about getting away with it when I'm on the eaten all the pies end of my weight fluctuation !

I’m a similar short arse and have used Gill which fits more or less. Funnily enough, in getting an old pair of Henri Lloyd salopettes out to use for work tomorrow, I asked my other half to remind us next time the sewing machine is out as the bottoms are torn and could be easily turned up by an inch or two given the Velcro straps are well above. Simple and cheap.

There's nothing technical about turning up trouser bottoms. Easiest job in the book.

thanks, I was looking at the Musto BR2's, what sailing boots do you wear with them?
