Sailing back to UK in a post virus world?

Boat arriving in Lisbon (a port of refuge) from Gibraltar was placed in 14 days quarantine from the date it departed Gib so transit time was taken into account.

So the assumption is that this boat wanted to stay in Lisbon for a time? I mean if it just wanted to arrive, drop a hook and rest, and then move on North again, are we presuming they're not going to force it to stay put for 14 days?

Well this is true... and at the end of the day all my plans will be for nothing unless I can actually get there! I have a flight booked for the 30th but not confident it will actually go.
The local newspapers are suggesting September or October for International flights. A Health card may be required. Rumour is that one called Hi Card may be trialled in July.

A Dutchman who was in lock-up on his yacht in Gomera, recently decided to sail home. He did it single-handed in a 36 feet yacht. Did not enter a port in Portugal or Spain. After crossing Biscay, he got permission to anchor around Brest from the French coastguard, then continued to the Isle of Wight. Got permission to enter Yarmouth and even was allowed to walk on the island. Had a strong easterly to conquer in the Channel, so anchored quite a lot to rest. He has now arrived home - nobody asked him to go in quaraintine.
