Sailing along the African Coast

We are in Turkey now and we want to sail to Morocco along the North African Coast with stop overs in Syria, Israel, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and Algeria.
Maybe somebody reading the forum has experience with sailing along the Nort African coast en can answer these questions?
- Will there be difficulties with the authorities by entering Egypt coming from Israel?
- Is it necessary to have visas ahead before the arrival at Libya and Algeria.
- Is there any experience with agents in Libya. The one recommended on Noonsite is not receiving e-mails.
Any other information will be very welcome.

This was a long time ago so worth checking. The Israelis were aware of the problem you mention. Their solution was not to stamp your passport but to stamp a piece of paper to keep in your passport. For the others:

Check out the east-med rally and med-red rally websites, there's quite a bit of information about the paperwork, and they are a helpful bunch. The organisers used to be based in Marmaris Yacht Marine, not sure if they are still there.
