Saildrive axis wear

What is an acceptable level of wear for the propeller shaft support of a saildrive?
When polishing is no more reasonable

I am not sure. Where has it worn, is it scored by the rubber seals?

If so fit a speedy sleeve, a lot less beer tokens than a new shaft. Or take it to a specialist machine shop who can repair it.
