The US Coastguard arrived just in the nick of time. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Do you know how it occured?In the first few shots it looks as if they are intentionally heading for the beach. Amazing photos of it in the surf.

I think that it has done the rounds of all the fora both here, and 'over the road'!
Doesn't take away the fact that they are a brilliant sequence of photo's, and a need for the owner of the boat in question to review the choice of antifouling on his new boat!
In a strange way I found it quite comforting, after apparently being rolled twice by the surf with the companionway hatch open the boat was still afloat. It appears that it was only the weight of all those surfers on the stern that finally sank it.
Or perhaps it was just the keel stuck on the bottom keeping it afloat!
