Sail to power, early lessons for your amusement

:) I've now looked RED up. 900-1100 of my english squids for a blow up. Holey moley. I know she's paying but really.

I'll blag a matching dark grey and white one off ebay.
Try Two Bare Feet.......much better value i think. Circa 265 to 300 should be what it costs for a decent board that does the trick.

I bought a travel-sized inflatable from Aquaplanet - Small enough to count as carry-on baggage with most airlines and comfortably south of £300!

1. There's nowhere to store my fenders. Oh hang on I may have mentioned that before.
You never see fenders on a superyacht except when parked. Anything smaller than a superyacht has nowhere to store fenders. But even if you did, after a short time you would still leave them out. Without a crew to get them out of storage and deploy them it gets to be a lot easier to leave them where you need them

Well of course that's exactly what we are doing. The contrast in cockpit stowage between this boat and the previous (similar size) yacht is striking.

A lot of SUP suppliers seem to be out of stock or waiting on stock. Very little available for immediate delivery at the moment. SUPing seems to be the big craze during Lockdown

Loads like myself got the porkies going strong during lockdown. The concept of exercise ranks alongside that of self flagellation imo. So trying something that looks like it may be fun with a side affect of exercise is appealing.

The bathing ladder. That was not on any list in my possession  although it's fair to say I probably won't be using itunless I fall in. Mrs S has developed an unhealthy interest in paddleboarding so it may well get some use, but that gives me two new problems:

1. How to buy the right one
2. Where to stow it. Even deflated it's bigger than a fender.
look at supstore in poole and bournemouth they are on line .

ah end every boat seems to have them wired up a different way. Bad if you go on different boats!
Don't say that. Maybe they're wired incorrectly which might explain why correcting lean isn't something I've mastered yet.
And after a week or many I now know the tabs are wired "wrong", ie not as per the manual. L button operates P tab not S, and vice versa.

can’t do this on a saily boat :)

Those are awesome. No wonder raggy boats dread them. When you look back at that you feel like Moses parting the Red Sea.
