Interesting, but it still leaves the long gap between the middle and aft lazyjacks which is where my sail used to spill out.

Mine has aluminium tubes along both sides and three attachments. I don't have an aft attachment.

Same here except that on my home-made stacker I used 1/2" PVC rigid water pipe instead of aluminium, cheaper and do not take a permanent set if bent.
For my next one I shall try to source solid GRP rods... if they're not too expensive.
