Simple remedy - show your favourites down the left side of the screen then adjust the window size till it pushes the annoying ad off the right edge.

People who post annoying animated ads that drive you mad deserve to be ignored.

I did not have that problem. . . mind you I am using an iMac.

It's a picture sizing issue i.e. the pic was too big. I've changed it now, so hopefully those of you experiencing problems won't be any more...
