Morning,

Just thought I would share an excellent Norwegian YouTuber (although in English) - search for Sail Life. Sorry if it has been posted before. This fella is excellent, even my wife loves watching which is rare. So far he has; fitted a stove, rebuilt a galley, re-wired his AC, replaced a deck, loads of glass work, quite a lot of sanding, painting and varnishing, re-built hatches, completed a DIY osmosis treatment etc, etc. Amazing attention to detail - personal favourite channel.

Enjoy,

I follow his videos and I find them interesting. However, IIRC, it seems that his voice puts off some people who post here. Personally, I think that it is a small price to pay given that the Norwegian does not try to put himself across as a 'know-it-all' expert and goes into a lot of detail about what he does, warts and all.

Danish, Norwegian, Swedish. I don't think that it matters much; when I was up there they all seemed to refer to each other's language as a "disease of the throat"! ;)
Not judging any of them collectively, of course. I prefer to make my own assessment upon personal experience with individuals, never on Nationality.

We find his stuff really informative. My wife and I look forward to his boat maintenance vlog every Sunday - he usually posts like clockwork. He was recently in the States for a couple of weeks, but he's so regular we were getting quite concerned for his welfare when he didn't post!

+1
been following Mad's video's for a year or so, seems like a thoroughly nice chap. Both entertaining and informative.

He does not pretend to be an expert but tells it how it is as he learns how to master the various projects on his boats with great results.

Well recommended.

My wife admires his tidiness and attention to detail which she recommends to me.

Certainly a good video looking at the repair of a deck - anyone considering this work might find the issues raised interesting.

In spite of my wife's remarks, his 'spiffing' videos get my thumbs up.
