How much would you expect to pay to have a smallish genoa(120%) from a 31 foot boat laundered ?

With a little re-stitching of the sacrificial strip. ( two feet max.)

I've just been asked for £136.

Rip off or going rate ?

Laundering seems to cost somewhere between £4 & £5 per kilo. Add maybe an hour's labour and I guess you are not too far out. I would always get several quotes for this type of work, by e-mail so you've got it in writing.

Try giving Suffolk Sails in Woodbridge a call. They will give you an idea on the phone. (I have used them and am satisfied with price and workmanship).
