Can anyone give me the name of a good illustrated book or video on sail & rigging setup for cruisers, I know all (well most) of the basics, but as I am getting new standing and running rigging on the Moody, it would be a shame not get the best out of her just because I do not have the best sail setup.
I have roler reefing Gen, Main, Trysail, no2jib, Spinnaker, & a storm jib.

Thanks

poter.

Before Kemp's became part of Selden, they used to produce a booklet on mast tuning, called 'Hints and advice on rigging and tuning your Kemp mast' I am told that it is still in print and that it is worth having, although I have never seen one. This might suit your purpose.

The best book I've read was called something like Sail & rig tuning by Ivar Dedekar. Fenhurst books. Lots of explanatory pictures to look at!
