Am seriously interested in a 1980 model built by Robert Ives. Reviews and info very hard to come by. Does anyone have any views, comments etc. Grateful for all info.

As you say, not much information about them. Even the Sadler owners' website doesn't mention them. I know a man who has lived full time on one in the Med for many years. During that time he has visited just about every country that is possible within the Med. He says it sails well and he must have seen some bad weather in the years he has owned the boat, so I guess they are pretty seaworthy. Other than that, can't offer anything.

Thanks for info. Very impressed during short trial sail and the small amount of info available is positive. Have made an offer subject to survey so have jumped in with both feet - but the boat feels right, sails well and the present owner is a sound guy who loves her and has looked after her very well for 11 yrs.
