Tis the time...

Tis the time for families to get together (and argue!). Just put my 85 year old parents to bed; now waiting for the village pub to start the fireworks. Thank God it isn't raining, or we'd all get soaked. Have a great New Year.

Re: Saddo\'s

Even sadder, sitting her working on a pcb for a Sealine spare part for some rich sod, sorry if it's a reader her.

Mind second bottle is helping.

looking after my 11 year old- however he's proved handy at popping a champagne cork- cheers and Happy New Year to all

No, Happios

Happy is she (or he, for that matter) who, in one bound, bursts free from the tyrannical demands of social convention and does what she (or he, for that matter) really feels like doing. Early night, good book (Gore Vidal's deliciously malicious "Palimpsest"), earplugs and, of course, anything else that might tickle your fancy......
Edited by Violetta on 01/01/2003 09:31 (server time).

Absolutely. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Shame Gore Vidal is practically exilled in Southern Italy. The man is a genius.

Earplugs

It sounded like Adolph Bush had launched an attack on the middle east but hit Medway instead round here last night.
