I'm creeping about the house trying not to make any noise too.
As my daughter has reached 'Santa non believer' age she doesn't get up at 5.00 am to check out Christmas presents!

Ha, our youngest Son has just gone for a run, before going off to decorate his recently bought flat near here, the eldest lad is spark out, having spent most of yesterday trying to get from home in E London to work in Smithfield and on to us for Christmas( an hour from Victoria normally).EG station is going to be one of the main stations to get to Gatwick over the Holiday- Good Luck, Folks, it barely copes with normal commuter pick up and set down!
Pity the poor devils stuck at Gatwick for Christmas Day.
Must go and set up the Cobb, hot roast pork in cider, honey and cloves with a capon on the side for Yulefest. Two drinks parties to go to before then too-you can see how you can die the 'ale death' at Yule, even if you're not a dark ages Viking.

Thankfully, Christmas is a shorter event here as it's celebrated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day is more like Boxing Day at home, off to visit friends, family or whatever you want. No endless turkey either!
