Is it possible that the RN has reviewed the practicalities of the new super carriers navigating the Portsmouth harbour entrance? Maybe the long term plan is big hulls in Devonport and everything else in Portsmouth.

Sound like a good plan. Sink two ships and block in the RN. One at Rhu Narrows will block Faslane and on in the entrance to Portsmouth harbour.

To complete the eighties flashback you should have included the yanks over in the Holy Loch, playing with their manky auld polaroids. They did hold good parties though...
