Probably my memory is wrong - I thought the first report I’d read said his boat was found anchored off Kilmory, but this one clearly says he was off Kinloch Castle.

A reminder of why I have a PLB secured to my lifejacket. I've always dreaded causing a fuss calling up the RNLI for help and have never had to so far but reading this it occurs to me a quick rescue is a lot less fuss than a protracted search for someone missing
