Just taken my Sena SPH10 headphones to the boat, all seem to be working well.
Decided to buy from Sabre Leisure and subsequently very pleased with the nice guy at the other end of the phone and quick turnaround - delivered next day.

Range and battery life seem very good, sound quality is also strong. We are looking forward to using them on our bikes in a few weeks, will be great to be able to ask Ann to slow down without shouting.

They look great, but I would be cautious about using them on a bike where you want all your senses available to detect the many things that have the potential to spoil your day: trucks, buses, cars...

I have had a pair for a year and they are a truly excellent piece of kit.

I'm not going to claim responsibility for this but a couple of years ago, I introduced the "nice guy" to whom you refer to my home made (DIY) headsets.
Indeed, I even built a couple for him.

Here is a link to an old thread where I explained the benefits of such a system.
The thread started by asking if anyone knew of any kit that would do the job

Post number 38 is the interesting one - where I explained my DIY solution.
I even wrote an article that was published in MBY extolling the virtues of these devices.

The guy who sold you the headsets is a keen boater himself and was very impressed with how useful the DIY ones were.
He wanted me to design and manufacture them so I did some further research and found the Sena sets.

Being more dynamic than me, he decided to contact Sena and set up a distribution channel for these headsets and, as a result, is able to offer them at very competitive prices.
As I say, that was a couple of years ago.
He lives in the same village and I believe that since then, he has sold lots of sets to the boating world.
I have even upgraded my old DIY sets to these Sena ones - much better and more robust than my prototype sets.
We continue to use them - mainly for the more difficult situations.
SWMBO and I will use them when we go into a new (to us) marina for the first time.
I know exactly when I can safely leave the helm station and go down and help with the lines etc.
It is amazing just how much the headsets calm the situation - no shouting.
And from my point of view, I know where SWMBO is all the time - there are lots of blind spots on our boat.

I'm sure you will be very pleased with them.

Tip
They take a bit of setting up so now SWMBO gets them out just before we need them and she turns them both on and hands me an already working headset.
Usually, I have my mind on other things at that time so it is then just a matter of sticking them on my head and talking.

We've had them for the 'season' and have nothing but good things to say about them. We had been using our iPhones and Bluetooth headsets but wanted something that would provide better range, which the Sennas do.
The only times that things get confusing are when either of us are talking to a third party while wearing the sets but the pros far outweigh the cons...
