Hi

I want to install an excess fuel switch as the engine does not have a pre-heat, and I want to go with my boat to Alaska etc. Without this switch the engine might not start in minus temps. I would like to find out where in the heat exchanger system this excess fuel switch should be installed? Also can anyone tell me where the Workshop Manual can be obtained?

Thanks

Ford based? Mine have an excess fuel button on the pump as standard. Side of the pump at the front, press it with the lever fully forward and it stays in.

Also, on some turbocharged engines sabre fitted a pre heat system to the airin the Charge air cooler.
Its basically an eberspacher heater element, with a diesel supply.... Warms the intake air temp up.

As above but not sure about the naturally aspirated engine, take a gas blow lamp with you and warm the inlet manifold, works every time.

Got lots of "info" pdf's email me your email address.
