sabb 2 hg engine spares .. HELP !

Hi

I am rying to help a friend of mine he has a sabb 2hg engine in a classic yacht the engine needs some work and we need a supplier of spares hopefully in the uk.

If anyone could send me a number or website that would be great, we have found the website for sabb in norway but they cant help with this old engine. ... hence we need your help !

Ill second Steve 28 on that one, very pricey, if renewing seals -valves ect, seals are bog standard and can be supplied from your local bearing suppliers for 1/2 the price. quote the three numbers on the seal, valves -guides-springs from any specialist in head repair, In fact here in Falmouth we take the complete head, new valves,stem guides,surfacing all done for about £120 as opposed to I think £700 for reconditioned head. if the head joint looks ok heat to cherry red and dunk straight inot cold water. best of luck.
