I had an 96 S28 with a single engine, she did 31 knots when clean, I sold her after 4 years and made 7 grand, that covered the deisel and some of the mooring fees.
In that time she never missed a beat , took us to Holland, Belgium, France and the channel Islands.
If the 29 is half as good after owning some of the rivals I would be more than happy.
Sealine rules in my book.

Sealine are the Ford of the power boats. Not in the same league as BMW or Mercs; plenty of gadgets but short on class and plenty of cost reduction ideas which may not be in the best interests of the owner.
The teak decking on my Sealine bubbled up like badly hung wall paper and on examination proved to be not much thicker. I've had a Fairline and a Sunseeker since and they are built to a much higher standard.

must have been bad batch of teak decking as the teak decks (cockpit & fly) on my F36 school boat has endured continuous abuse from skipper courses 4 students plus instructor, over 1000 plus hrs and looks fine.

so did the deck on my Fairline Targa 29, so I don't think that experiencing a problem on a single example of a more or less entry level model is much of a basis to condemn an entire marque, really, do you?

The F37 is somewhat better put together, IMHO.
