hello all. advise please. the starboard cabin window on my s24 has started to let water in but under the alluminium frame where it meets the wall lining. all rubbers appear ok but not sure about frame sealant. 2hours with hosepipe and no wiser. window has loads of retaining screws on the inside & seem to screw directly into the outer frame. engines n gearboxs yes, windows? no idea! ALL advise, suggestions, thoughts etc GREATFULLY recieved. thanks in advance to one and all.

I had the exactly the same problem on my S24 earlier this year funny enough. I used the creeping leak sealant (not quite sure the correct name right now) and purchased a hypodermic syringe with a very fine needle (got it online - holiday pack for £4) and injected in the outer window seal along the entire length at a couple of inches apart. I also did the same on the inside by carefully injecting behind the metal frame and holding cloth for any runs.

Did the same thing again the following weekend and the leak has stopped. I could not find the exact spot so treated the whole area. Excellent sealant and used it on the main hatch window in the cabin which had a similar problem. Just make sure when injecting the water like sealant that it is not running down inside the cabin onto your seats etc!

Did not want to undo all those screws and felt by doing so would make the matter worse unless a major leak of course.

If you need more information let me know.
