s24 hand shower

the problem. the hand shower hose on my s24 decided not to extend more than about 3inches from the holder. no prob thought i, just wiggle it............didnt work..........take out small panel headlineing in 2nd cabin......... cant see anything......take out bulkhead headlineing .... same result....force arms into blackhole to try and feel whats what....result lacerated arms iching with fiberglass .. pipe the same..... i know, i,ll take the baison out! it,s sealed in to take the presure of 10,000meters depth!! once out it still doesnt show where the pipe is trapped..... next, shall i saw the hull in half???????? naaaaaaaahhhh go to b&q buy new pipe n fit !! oh the joy of boat ownership. why do only the simple faults give the most grief???????????

You may have tried this or the wall may be in the way.

Try winding the head around a few times to force the hose to curl. Thats how I got mine free once.

evening. yes youre right i did try twisting etc the pipe. i even went to the extreme of running hot water through it to soften it up but no luck. the trouble was that it wasnt twisted it was snaged on something invisible ! hense replaced.

oops, sorry I missed the bit where you said you had fixed it.

I changed the washers in mine because they dripped all the time and made the pump fire up every now and then. New washers dripped worse. Had to buy new tap, and had all the same fun you had stripping the unit down and removing the basin.
