Good evening everyone
Just for general family and friends interest, can anyone tell me what happened to British Respect when she was sold by BP for pastures new?
We would like to know what name(s) she has had since, and if she is still sailing, what company is she with?
Thanks in anticipation.
John :)

The ship from shipsnostalgia is indeed the one....I was fortunate enough to be invited aboard at Finnart by her Master - the fleet Commodore I think. This would have been around 1974.
I believe she is still sailing for a Far Eastern company and purely for interest I'd like to trace her.
Lenseman, thank you so much for your time - much appreciated.
Cheers John :)

so the 15 tons of gold that Prince Igor stowed as ballast when she was in Severodvinsk are presumably sailing around the world disguised as Chinese containers ....
