S 1 versus SPX 5.

Whats the difference between these 2 wheelpilots? Money seems about the same.??

SPX-5 is Raymarine's replacement for S1. Core computer has rate gyro as standard supposedly to improve course keeping. Doesn't use rudder position indicator as does the S1.
Both work to about the same max displacement.
