We do it when a customer notices the temps running higher than usual, it varies from engine type to engine type, Mercruiser 1.7 diesels seem to need it more often than Volvos. Also remember to replace the anodes after flushing as there will be very little of them left.ImpressiveHow often should this be done?
No I scoffed them firstLet me guess. You opened all the sea cocks for your raw water flush and now have the marina manager yelling at you for killing off the brand spanking new endangered oyster beds they are cultivating.
What did you do!!!A big thanks to Volvo Paul , he pulled me out the shit today.
Ok so just for you set the loop up put some water in the bucket a quick switch on water shot around loop , so put descaler in 7L and 7L water switched on, bucket emptied so toped up as i thought it was filling system NO it had all gone out of the cooler through the stern gland , He ho. at least the engines are shiny now.
