I am looking to complete the Yacthmaster Offshore with the week long practical refresher followed by the assessment. A colleague is booked with a sea school called Marine Matters based in Warsash and I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge or experience of them? Cheers

You wouldn't go far wrong if you did undertake the course with Tim. Mendez Marine would be another good choice. Both organisations are first rate in my opinion

Yep, I first met Henry and his team at MM about 8 years ago when I got my Phantom38. They are mostly ex-Navy and very professional too as the others you've mentioned.

They don't post on this forum but I know they look at it from time to time. I am sure that your colleague will be fine, sometimes it's better to go with new faces as they won't have any preconceived ideas of your ability and experience. Of course, this is as long as you know they're up to the task. Which in this case, I am sure that they are. :encouragement:
