Nice to see the RYA recognise motorboat owners in the spring magazine with a motorboat on the front cover.

Interesting letter about the 'Reduce your Wash' campaign. I wonder if MBM is going to help publicise this. Having been on an MBM cruise, I know they take this very seriously but I don't recall much publicity in MBM magazine itself

But besides the bit you mention, didn't you still feel toatally frustrated by the whole Magazine? Generally doesn't seem to reflect the hobby I partake in, much at all? Is it me?? Or as far as literary content is our pastime really that barren? MFM, MBY seem to do OK?

It is a bit dry and doesn't have a particularly good content for Mobo readers. On the other hand it is probably the only weighty organisation that can represent boaters and defend our interests and has got some (I think) very important views and campaigns re safetey at sea. (Reduce your wash etc..)
It also appears to be committed to fighting against compulsary registration and licencing (which just means a mechanism to raise tax revenue) so I think on balance it is worthy of support (IMHO)
