Peter -
We use KTY Yachts when we are not running our own courses - call Yvonne Taylor on 01489 570302 and tell her we sent you.

If not dates to suit then SWAC runs them very regularly. Southampton Water Activities Centre

I did mine there - water bit was great, but the instructor bore me to tears! Also Warsash College. You could try Hamble School of Yachting or BOSS.

If Yvonne can't sort you.

Thanks David.

I did my "STCW95 med first aid at sea" with Yvonne and Keith so I do know them.

Bloody instructors - if they're not boring you to tears they are pinching your catchphrases.........

AM I have to ask I'm afraid.
My mate Ron is 86 and has a cap like yours!
He is on his boat every day, an RLM 31, and has forgotten more than I'll ever know about boats and the sea, how ancient are you? /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I wouldn't reccommend KTY Yachts. I recently did the ISAF Offshore Crew Course with them:

Far too many pupils in the class, about 30 IIRC.

A large proportion of the time spent by the instructors selling parachute sea anchors.

Pool work very poor when compared to a course I did 5 years earlier with Warsash Training Centre.

First Aid teaching good but rushed through. Would not have been much good if you've never done a First Aid course but okish as a refresher.

The AV projector was complete pants as you couldn't see a thing.

No opportunity for confidential feedback.

I did mine with Poole Harbour Sea Survival - very good - pool session was a bit knackering though.
