rusty water marks

Does anyone know any good stuff for removing rusty water marks from vinyl? Tried the usual cleaners but nothing seems to shift it

Oxalic acid solution I would think.

Might start by trying citric acid if you have any.

No no no the stuff you buy from the likes of AG Woodcare and mix with wallpaper paste for cleaning stains of the grp.

But for this purpose just a solution in water will do.

Some Pharmacists will get you a small quantity (some wont!)

Well....yeah, but no, but yeah, but.....he'll only need a bit, it saves him mixing it up, and - speaking as a card-carrying, tightwad Yorkie - it's only a tenner, eh ? And his swindler will stock it, so it's easy innit ?

If he has any left over it whips off those brown waterline marks in no time, so it wouldn't go to waste.

Bar keepers friend. Available in most supermarkets with the ceramic hob cleaners. Go careful though.
