rust stain on sail

My genny came back from the winter with a nasty rust stain. I dont want to waste sailing time faffing about with a sluggish and grumpy sailmaker and would like to remove the stain quickly myself.

I am told that oxalic acid will do the trick. Is that true and where do I get it? My small local Boot's don't have it.

But what they might have is the appropriate Stain Devil, which also does the job. Supermarkets often have it too. Get the one that mentions rust on the label.
