Rule RM2000S Bilge Pump

Does anybody have experience of this pump, it is the later model RM2000A, I am told the model was released as an update of the RM2000 about a year ago.

I can find plenty of negative comments on the earlier model, primary problem being failure to shut off, however I can not find reference to the newer updated model.

Any guidance gratefully received.

Not the RM 2000A, but we have the smaller Rule Mate 1100 gph, and have had no problems with it in the six years that we have had it. I give it a good flush through several of its automatic cycles at the beginning and end of each season which seems to help.
